Stow-Away Hotel

Situated within the Lower Marsh Conservation Area, Stow-Away Hotel responds to the demand for more flexible living and working trends in Central London. With a focus on simplicity, robustness and durability, this innovative five-storey modular development for Stow Projects and Ciel Capital consists of 20 high-quality, compact, short-stay apartments.

Stow-Away demonstrates the architects’ enthusiasm for creativity and new construction techniques with the design cleverly unlocking the challenging technical constraints of the site through the use of 30ft shipping containers. Always striving to deliver projects with a real sense of place and community benefit, a key element of the design was to embrace the surrounding urban environment. The ground-floor reception and café are designed to complement the eclectic, independent and collaborative community of Lower Marsh and provide a new destination for locals and visitors.
