Alfred Place
Sat within the Bloomsbury Conservation Area in the London Borough of Camden, the 7,875sq m building at 31-34 Alfred Place was designed to deliver Wainbridge AP Ltd ‘s aspirations for a new generation of workspaces. Representing an evolution of the well-built, adaptable, industrial buildings of the past, the scheme offers highly flexible, economic and sustainable office space and includes multiple amenities designed with occupier wellbeing in mind.
Internal spaces are column free and exposed thermal mass construction enables high ceilings. The façades are tailored to deal with orientation and sun exposure, providing a distinctive architectural expression that responds to the building’s Conservation Area context and adjacency to Richard Siefert’s 1972 Whittington House.
